Is it necessary that my intention to donate to a charitable organization be stated in my will?

Without a will, your property and finances are settled according to federal and provincial laws, which may not coincide with your wishes.

In order to be certain that the charity of your choice receives the donation in question, it must be mentioned in your will.

You must precisely state the exact name of the organization or service to which you wish to donate. It is recommended that you contact the organization to verify the feasibility of your wish.
